Shade Tree Midwifery has office locations for clinic in Denton and Gainesville, Texas.
Your midwives believe in informed consent and helping our clients truly understand the choices they are making about managing their pregnancy and birth. The Shade Tree Midwives work in partnership with the families they serve to provide safe midwifery care in a home or birth center setting.
Rebekah began her birth work career as a doula, and now that she and her team are midwives, they each bring that knowledge base of hands-on care and servants’ heart to all of their client births.
Your Midwifery Investment includes:
Comprehensive Prenatal Visits including:
Nutritional Counseling
Monitoring babys growth
Screening for complications
Most appointments are 45-60 minutes long
Assistant fee included in midwifery fee (savings of $600+)
Postpartum visits at 24-72 hours after birth, 2 weeks, 6 weeks (additional visits available if needed)
Things that are not included in this fee: Rhogam (if you are Rh-), homebirth kit (approx $100), birth tub & supplies, labs (drawn by your midwives, no need to go to a lab) and sonogram(s).

Early Pregnancy Concerns and Possible Miscarriage
Occasionally families contact our practice very early in pregnancy and begin to experience bleeding or other symptoms, or reach out for the first time while experiencing symptoms that may indicate a possible miscarriage. We also often support families with early progesterone management as needed based on clinical history. While we strive to always provide compassionate care, especially in these difficult situations, individuals who have not yet established care for this pregnancy in our practice will need a brief consultation before medical guidance, lab orders, ultrasound orders etc. can be provided. We offer an Early Pregnancy Consultation for these situations, which may include discussion of symptoms, guidance regarding next steps, ordering lab work and ultrasound when indicated. The fee for this service is $250, and any laboratory tests will be billed at cost (ultrasounds are additional and payable to the sonographer at the time of service). If ongoing care with our practice is established for this pregnancy, these services will be credited towards the total cost of care.
