Shade Tree Midwifery has office locations for clinic in Denton and Gainesville, Texas.
As Midwives, Rebekah and Matison believe in informed consent and helping our clients truly understand the choices they are making about managing their pregnancy and birth. The Shade Tree Midwives work in partnership with the families they serve to provide safe midwifery care in a home or birth center setting.
Rebekah and Matison began their birth work careers as doulas, and now that they are midwives, they each bring that knowledge base of hands-on care and servants’ heart to all of their client births.
Your Midwifery Investment includes:
Comprehensive Prenatal Visits including:
Nutritional Counseling
Monitoring babys growth
Screening for complications
Intake appointment that is 1-1.5 hours long. Appointments are 60 minutes long
Assistant fee included in midwifery fee (savings of $500+)
Postpartum visits at 24-72 hours after birth, 2 weeks, 6 weeks (additional visits available if needed)
Things that are not included in this fee: Rhogam (if you are Rh-), homebirth kit (approx $100), birth tub & supplies, labs (drawn by your midwives, no need to go to a lab) and sonogram(s).
